The hotel is nestled in a courtyard garden setting. The hotel dates back to 1659, and the facade reflects this, although constant maintenance work is in place to keep the building in tact. Car parking is available at the rear of the hotel. A decent hotel set in very pretty surroundings with a location to match. The hotel also boasts a leisure centre and does not accept any single sex parties. (GW 05/2009)
