Located just 500 m from St Marks Square and Rialto Bridge, the 3-star Hotel Scandinavia enjoys not only close proximity to some of the cities great attractions, but also views of the S Maria Formosa Square and the Church of Santa Maria Formosa. The building itself is said to date back to the year 1000 and according to legend is the place where Desdemona met Othello, the “Moor of Venice”.
