Hotel J, a member of Design Hotels, was awarded one of “The hot 100 best hotels in Europe by the Sunday Times 2010”. The hotel sits among stately oaks and pines with an enchanting view over the marina, the Royal Park Djurgården and the lively boat life on the sea. The inspiration by classic Newport summer mansions in the U.S. is apparent, a combination of timeless luxury and genuine comfort where the colours red, white and blue are dominant and paired with oiled woodwork and dark, varnished floors. Most of the beautiful hotel rooms (35 of the 45) have a balcony or their own patio with a view of one of the world's most beautiful harbour entrances. In the summer you can enjoy your morning coffee in the tranquil garden where the waves lap against the shore. When the winter season starts guests can head for the indoors and relax by the fireplace in the lounge, where you can enjoy the cosiness of comfy sofas and the crackle from the fire. The hotel’s 45 rooms are tastefully and exclusively decorated, with a lot of wood trim and a genuine feeling for materials and quality in all the details, such as luxurious linen from GANT and bathroom amenities from FACE Stockholm. Hotel J can accommodate 90 guests and all the rooms are generously sized at 22 to 37 sqm. The J Seaview room is luxurious and spacious. It has a king-size bed and is decorated in an exclusive marine style, and offers stunning sea views from the balcony. All bathrooms feature a bathtub and shower.
