La Residenza is an ecohotel certified by the EcoWorldHotel environmental quality mark, set in a green and quiet area of north Milan. The hotel looks onto a pleasant park replete with a children's play area, plus there are supermarkets, banks and shops in the immediate vicinity. Places of interest nearby include the Maciachini Center, disco Alcatraz, the Fieramilano of Rho-Pero (accessible via the highway) and the Fieramilanocity. The hotel puts into practice its ecotourism philosophy throughout the property through the use of alternative energy sources, low voltage light bulbs, ecological paper and toiletries with a fully recyclable packaging.
