The Maracaibo Aparthotel & Restaurant is a family owned property in the southern Gran Canarian village of Puerto Rico; located just 400m away from the beach and the yacht marina. Built in 1970 and renovated in 2005 and 2009, the Aparthotel has 101 rooms, all of which have a surface of approximately 55 sqm, a private terrace with sea views; flat-screen TV with satellite channels, safe (optional), air-conditioning (optional), and a fully equipped kitchen with a toaster and kettle. Classic rooms are located between the first and third floors and are decorated with original Italian porcelain tiles, selection of Spanish terracotta, granite and basalt stone, with a modern touch and high quality oak furniture. Classic rooms are the balanced combination for a good quality and an attractive price. They are fitted with king-size beds or twin beds and a bathroom in rustic style with gold Brazilian granite. The aparthotel offers a range of facilities and services: business & Internet centre, a 24hr mini market and delicatessen shop, therapeutic massages, heated swimming pool, separate heated children’s pool, children’s play and activities area, and a tropical palm garden. The Maracaibo gourmet restaurant & Caribbean bar is the gastronomic and relaxing area. In the daytime the Caribbean bar is the perfect choice for a nice breakfast, lunch, snack or cocktail on the chill out terrace with marvellous views overlooking the beach and yacht marina. Every evening the chef offers a daily menu and a gourmet speciality with a good selection of Spanish wines. To conclude an excellent evening the lounge bar is the right place for a first class long drink, brandy or old Scotch whisky.
