The Ghent River Hotel is a 4 star property offering personalised rooms in the heart of Ghent. The hotel is located on the right bank of the Leie and is the only hotel in the city accessible by boat, thanks to the ancient pier. Within walking distance are attractions such as Friday Market, the Toreken, Het Huis van Alijn, Gravensteen, and Stadhuis. The hotel encompasses 2 buildings: a renaissance period house dating from 1518 and a rice-mill built on a burnt down sugar refinery, dated 1857.
