Easily accessible, recently refurbished Mercure Bordeaux Gare Saint-Jean is near the neighbourhood of 'Le Port de La Lune' which is in the Heritage of the UNESCO. Access to the historical centre is made easy by using the tramway line C which stops in front of the hotel. From the hotel, the town is about 1.5 Km away, and guests can discover the treasures of the city; the 'Chartrons' district for example, famous in the past for its wine trade and today for its antique shops, the 'Place des Quinconces', the 'Colonne des Girondins', the 'Place de la Bourse' ex 'Place Royale', St. Andre's Cathedral and the 'Palais Gallien'. The restaurant with the terrace is open every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is included and served from 06:30 – 10:00am on weekdays and from 07:00 – 11:00am on weekends.
