Built in typical Italian Style, the Excelsior has a unique location with magnificent views over the bay. A small village 10 minutes walk away has some good restaurants and bars and, from here, there is a beautiful path, twisting past lemon groves and wild flowers into Amalfi. It takes about 10 minutes to the town centre but the hotel provides a free shuttle. The hotel provides a swimming pool with 3 sun terraces; gardens; pool bar (in high season only). Private rocky beach, bar with snacks, continental breakfast; main meals waiter service with choice of menu; TV, table tennis. Beach access available from 15/06/2009 to 15/09/2009. There is a charge for the use of sunbeds and umbrellas.
